hoop earrings in dark sterling silver

These hoops are hand wrought from a continuous, seamless piece of sterling silver wire, hammer forged with a flat hammer texture  one side, while the other is from the face of the anvil. 

 Created one at a time, by hand, with a special process called cold forging that stretches and moves metal with hammers, anvils and other traditional silversmithing tools, enabling me to work a thick gauge of silver into a hoop with a lovely perfect earwire. Self locking, with no post to poke you or get tangled up in your hair.

Hoops open with a simple twist, and close into a nesting latch with a solid click.
